Tuliaupupu won't be flying Solo this weekend at USC

January 25, 2018

Although we're less than two weeks from the Feb. 7 signing day, USC isn't pursuing a large number of unsigned prospects who haven't already taken their official visits.

But one of the highest uncommitted priorities left on the board for the Trojans is four-star Army All-American LB Solomon Tuliaupupu from Mater Dei.

And Tuliaupupu will accompanied this weekend on his USC official visit by his close friend Palaie Gaoteote and Mater Dei teammates JT Daniels and Amon-Ra St. Brown. St. Brown's good friend, Servite DB Julius Irvin, is also scheduled to take an unofficial visit on Saturday.

At one point Tuliaupupu wasn't sure he'd take an official visit to USC, but hinted in Hawaii last week that another visit to see the Trojans was very liklely.

We'll keep you updated throughout the weekend at Heritage Hall about what we're hearing and have visit updates published beginning Sunday afternoon.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
He's a definite must get!!!! Love his play and athleticism at the LB position. Him and PG will dominate the middle together.

We need Solo and guys like him to toughen up our play. He is one physical dude and could set the tone for the entire defense.

I sure hope we are fortunate to land him.
