Welcome Back Reggie: Looking Back At 5 of #5's Best Moments at USC

June 10, 2020

June 10th 2020 was a great day for Trojan fans as Reggie Bush was officially reinstated by the program. With that being said, its only right to look back at some of the best moments Bush had while wearing the Cardinal and Gold for 3 years.

#5 BYU, 2004

Bush’s first career 100 yard game in college came against BYU in 2004. He ran for 124 yards and a touchdown, a 66-yard run where he left the Cougar defense in the dust. It was the first of many 100 yard performances for Bush at USC.

#4 UCLA, 2005

The 2005 showdown between USC and UCLA was a matchup of two top 15 teams. However, the game quickly got out of hand, thanks to another huge performance from Bush. He went for 260 yards and 2 TDs as USC destroyed UCLA 66-19.

#3 Fresno State, 2005

The week before torching UCLA for 260 yards, Bush put on a show against the Fresno State Bulldogs at the Colieseum. His stat line from that game: 23 carries, 294 yards, 2 TDs, 3 recs., 68 yards. His 50-yard touchdown run from that game would become one of the signature runs of his career.

#2 UCLA, 2004

In his sophomore season against UCLA, Reggie ran for 204 yards, 2 TDs, on just 15 carries. He also contributed 6 receptions for 73 yards and delivered this amazing highlight on the second play for scrimmage as USC would go on to beat UCLA 29-24.

#1 The Bush Push

With the game on the line against a rival, Reggie became famous for what is now known as the Bush Push. What some forget is how great his own stat line was from that game: 15 carries, 160 yards, 3 TDs, 4 recs., 35 yards.
