Some players are building careers in the NFL, some tried out in other leagues and some are out of football completely. USC Scoop will look most of the impactful players on that team and what they've done since they left USC.

Quarterbacks

Sam Darnold - After being drafted 3rd overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, Darnold is entering his 3rd season as the starting QB for the New York Jets.

Max Browne - Browne was a graduate transfer who went to Pitt after the Rose Bowl season. He now works as a Social/Content Manager for Lewis Howes (a business coach), and also works as a College Football Analyst on Sirius XM for Stadium network.

Running Backs

Ronald Jones II - Jones was drafted 38th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017, and is now entering his 3rd season for them.

Justin Davis - Played for the LA Rams in 2017 and 2018. He then signed to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad in 2019.

Aca’cedric Ware - In October of 2019, Ware linked up with Rojo in Tampa Bay to play for the Buccaneers.

Wide Recievers

Juju Smith-Schuster - After a productive start to his career, he emerged as the Steelers #1 WR and will continue to play this role in 2020.

Deontay Burnett - After leaving college early in 2018, Burnett went undrafted and has bounced around many different teams. He first went to the Tennessee Titans, then to the New York Jets, followed by the 49ers and now plays for the Philidelphia Eagles.

Darreus Rogers - After going undrafted in 2017, the Seattle Seahawks signed Rogers, but eventually waived him before the season started and hasn’t been signed by a team after that. Since then he has started a YouTube channel.

Steven Mitchell Jr. - Went undrafted in 2018, and was signed by the Rams. After being let go by them, he was picked up by the Houston Texans and has bounced around frequently from their practice squad to their active roster.

Michael Pittman Jr. - Drafted in 2020 in the 2nd round (34th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts.

Josh Imatorbhebhe - Transfered to Illinois last year and had a good season in Champaign, where he caught 33 passes for over 600 yards and 9 TDs.

De’Quan Hampton - After breaking out in one of the last games of his senior season by catching a pair of touchdowns vs UCLA, Hampton went undrafted. He spent time with a few NFL teams, starting with the Detroit Lions, then to the Saints. He signed with the San Diego Fleet in the AAF, until that league collapsed. Later he signed with the LA Wildcats in the XFL, until that league also collapsed.

Tyler Vaughns - Returning to USC as a RS Senior in 2020.

Tight End

Taylor McNamara - In 2017, McNamara went undrafted and signed with the Cleveland Browns. During roster cutdowns, he was released by them and has not been with a team since.

Daniel Imatorbhebhe - After battling injuries for many years, Imatorbhebhe was granted a 6th year of eligibility and will play for the Trojans in 2020.

Josh Falo - Will be a senior for the Trojans in 2020

Offensive Line

Zach Banner - After being drafted by a monkey in the 2017 Draft in the 4th round (137th Overall) by the Indianapolis Colts, Banner has bounced around many NFL teams. He was signed by the Browns and Panthers, and now has stuck with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the past 2 seasons.

Chad Wheeler - Wheeler went undrafted in 2017, and was signed by the New York Giants where he spent 2 seasons. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks and still is with them.

Damien Mama - Mama decided to leave USC early in 2017. After running the slowest 40 yard dash ever clocked at the combine (5.84 seconds), Mama went undrafted. He was picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs, and then bounced around from the Giants to the Cowboys. He was picked up in the AAF by the San Diego Fleet. After that league collapsed, he went to play for the LA Wildcats and then the New York Guardians in the XFL, until they recently filed for bankruptcy.

Viane Talamaviao - After graduating from USC, he now works with the Trojans as a Graduate Assistant on the Offensive Line.

Toa Lobendahn - Lobendahn was signed by the New York Jets after going undrafted in 2019. After battling injuries with them, he tried his hand in the XFL with the LA Wildcats.

Defensive Line

Rasheem Green - Green was drafted in the 3rd round (79th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2018 draft. He is still with the team.

Malik Dorton - Dorton was signed by the Oakland Raiders as a UDFA in 2019. In January of 2020, he was signed by the Edmonton Eskimos to play in the Canadian Football League.

Stevie Tu’ikolavatu - Drafted in the 7th round (233rd overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After not seeing much time on the field, he was released and picked up by the Seattle Battlehawks in the XFL supplemental draft.

Linebackers

Uchenna Nwosu - Nwosu was drafted in the 2nd round (48th Overall) by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018. Since then, he has been a productive pass rusher and has made some big plays in big games. Through 2 seasons, he has nearly 60 tackles and 5.5 sacks.

Cameron Smith - Smith was drafted in the 5th round (162nd Overall) by the Minnesota Vikings in 2019. He has since bounced between their practice squad and active roster, primarily due to injury.

Michael Hutchings - Since graduating in 2018, Hutchings has worked with the Trojans as a graduate assistant, helping with the Linebackers.

Porter Gustin - Due to injuries, Gustin went undrafted in 2019 and was signed by the New Orleans Saints. He was released by them before the start of the season and signed with the Browns where he got a sack in limited action last season.

John Houston - After not getting selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cornerbacks

Adoree Jackson - The Tennessee Titans selected Adoree Jackson with the 18th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Since then he has racked up 188 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 33 PBU’s, and 2 INT’s. He has also used his return abilities a bit that made him such a dominate player for the Trojans.

Iman Marshall - Marshall was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 4th round (127th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he did not see much time on the field in a loaded Ravens secondary.

Ajene Harris - Harris went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft and signed with the Philidelphia Eagles after the draft. He flipped from their practice squad to active roster and back many times during his rookie season.

Jack Jones - Before the 2018 season, Jones was dismissed from the team due to academic issues. Just days after his dismissal he and two others were arrested for breaking into a Panda Express in June of 2018. Since then, he has transferred to Arizona State, where he will be a redshirt senior in 2020.

Safeties
