USC coming hard for 4-Star Dallas WR Quaydarius Davis

February 24, 2020

Elite Four-Star Dallas (TX) Skyline WR Quaydarius Davis‍ has been one of the most impressive 2021 wide outs I've seen this Winter. He's extremely strong, athletic, a solid route runner and catches every ball thrown his way.

When observing Davis, you see an athlete who's extremely competitive and isn't shy to let his QB know he wants the ball. And his mindset is completely understandable considering some of the ridiculously difficult grabs he routinely makes.

I first saw him in early January at the Pylon 7v7 event in Lancaster, TX and it only took a few plays to understand why most of the elite programs in the nation have offered him a scholarship. Six weeks ago Davis didn't have an offer from USC, so I didn't even bother asking him if he'd have any interest in the Trojans.

Since then the Trojans and several other schools have offered the talented Texas wide out. He's now figuring out a few schools he plans to visit during the Sprimg and USC is one of the lucky schools that'll get a visit.

“USC is recruiting me like a really hard and have been for a minute,” said Davis. “They're in my top five."

While it may seem like a longshot for the Trojans to land an elite skill player from the heart of Longhorn country, USC’s chances may end up being far better than fans realize.

USC Scoop spent some time talking with Davis last weekend at the Las Vegas Pylon 7v7 and he gave us an update on where his recruitment stands, why he plans on visiting USC, other possible visits and more.
