Eli'jah Winston showing versatility, talks team chemistry

August 7, 2019

Elijah Winston came to USC a year ago as a player who could ultimately be extremely valuable with his versatility. We were told he could play outside linebacker, where we’ve seen him at most of the time, move inside and play a similar role Rasheem Green did or even play inside linebacker.

With Jordan Iosefa going down with a kneee injury and sideline 4-6 weeks, Clancy Pendergast moved Winston to the indie linebacker position.

Winston talked about the move after practice Wednesday. He also talked about the significant changes within the program spearheaded by strength and conditioning coach Aaron Ausmus and much more.

Definitely worth earing what this impressive young man had to say Wednesday.
