Young players & QBs highlight USC's first fall practice

USC’s first fall camp practice featured most of what Clay Helton and Graham Harrell have been talking about for months: fundamentals and speed. The Trojans spent the majority of Friday evening progressing through drill work, with some one-on-one and conditioning mixed in. 

Three horns signaled the end of practice, at least for some of the Trojans. Veteran players were excused for the day, while freshman stayed on the field for a series of up-downs. Bru McCoy wasn’t part of Friday’s practice, sidelined by a fever.
