Fall Camp Primer: The Offensive Line

No matter how you you slice it, USC’s offensive line performance in 2018 was below par.  The two metrics most used when grading an offensive line’s production are rushing yards and sacks allowed.   Pick your poison.  

In 2018 USC was ranked  No. 106 in rushing offense and the awe-inspiring pass protection allowed 27 sacks on the season,  ranked No. 67 in the country.  With those type of numbers, it’s easy to understand why the Trojan offense had diificulty generating any type of offensive rhythm.
